I thoroughly enjoy this more serious, reflecting book about a blue-bellied toad and a ripe peach. Peach wants to see the world and is sad she is stuck to her tree. Blue assists her in getting down and shows her his pondside view in a leaf-lined bowl of mud and twigs. In the end, it is her who opens up a whole new world to Blue. The art is absolutely amazing. Very detailed and well-composed.
