fanatical friday

Sir Paul McCartney appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. All I want to know is how I can get a gig like that where I get to meet my idols? Seriously. Not only did he get to interview the legend but he also got to sing with him. I know. I was green with jealousy. You can go to nbc.com to watch the full episode but here is a clip of Jimmy and Sir Paul singing the original version of "Yesterday" which was originally "Scrambled Eggs". He later sang one of my favorites "Here Today".

Also, be sure to watch the Kennedy Center Awards on December 28 where Sir Paul will be honored along with Oprah and others. Did you happen to see the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song he received back in June? He sang "Michelle" to the First Lady. You really should try to watch the whole event honoring Sir McCartney but here is the clip of him singing to Michelle Obama:

P.S. Be sure to catch Paul McCartney on SNL this Saturday. He will be the musical guest! He sure is getting around. :p

christmas lights

These holiday greeting cards by Foxy Blunt are seriously the best. They tickle my weird funny bone and get me excited about sending out Christmas cards this year.

Here is another holiday treat you are sure to enjoy. Coldplay never disappoints and they prove it here with a radical new Christmas song. Enjoy.
