AWHC

Living in this valley is such a blessing. There is lots at our fingertips and it is rich with history. So much so, there is even a living history type center here called the American West Heritage Center . We love going to all the fun activities they offer. This year they have even added a train. Right now the fall festivities are going on. We have been out there a couple of times already. All the activities are centered around families and focus on showing kids what great time can be had in the great outdoors. Usually grandpa G goes with us and I think that is the kids favorite part.

Here is Cowboy M showing us how to rope a stationary steer: You twirl it, release and...uuurrgggh...Okay...twirl, aim, release and... ...success! Third time's a charm.
