It has been hard to watch an opening monologue without cringing since Taylor Swift wrote and performed her own. Since it is more than obvious the writers tried to stylize the monologue to the hosting star and it seems to always fall flat. So to have Zach Galifianakis host and perform his own monologue was very refreshing. At times it seemed like he was shooting from the hip but it was hilarious. His comedy is so random and quirky. The whole night was pretty funny but his opening was the best. Enjoy.
