these is my words

I just finished this book and absolutely loved it!! I liked it so much that I felt absolutely compelled to write the author and tell her so. I'm sure I made a complete fool out of myself but I just was totally enthralled by the book and couldn't put it down. These Is My Words is a historical fiction novel written in diary form. It is set during a time in Territorial Arizona when life was hard and tenuous. The story is a portrait of the courage and perseverance of one woman, and a love affair that will never be forgotten. I gasped, I laughed, I cried. I highly recommend this!! Any suggestions on my next read??

I have been dying to read that!! I heard from so many people that it was so good. You just confirmed it so without a doubt, it will be my next read. Have you ever read The Help? I read that a month ago for book club and it was a good one if you haven't read it. Just a suggestion since you are looking for your next read. Not so much a love story, but a very intriguing one none the less.

I also really enjoyed that book. I love historical fiction. I believe it has a sequel, or at least another one by that author (I think Lara told me that because she read it-you'll have to ask her).

okay, so i just responed on FB that i would love to borrow your book without actually having come on here to see what it is...and I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! it is (honestly) one of my top-5 all-time (can you beat captain jack & pride & pred's mr. darcy? hardly...). LOVED. the sequel (sarah's quilt, and i think there might be another one after that even) was kind of a letdown, though. just fyi.
