miss me?
Yes, I have been occupied as of late. Have you noticed?
I have good reasons too.
1. The iPhone
I always told myself I wouldn't get caught up in the hype and ever get one. I am now eating my words. By the way, Words with Friends is awesome. So is the Scrabble app. Pretty much everything about the iPhone is time-consuming and addictive. You have been warned.
2. Christian's winning streak
How great is it to watch your favorite actor go on to win 3 major awards this year AND have his picture be included in every major magazine and news outlet? Super. What next? Oh yeah...a little franchise called Batman. Maybe you've heard of it... ;)
3. Lark Rise to Candleford
This has saved me during many late nights I've had lately. So much so I would actually hope to be up in the night so I could watch it. Never heard of it? Well, you are not the only one. I wish I had a $1 for every quizzical look I received when saying the title. I'm bummed to be currently caught up to the latest episode only to find out the BBC has canceled the show. Why get rid of a good thing?
4. Bundle of Joy
Am I off the hook?

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura HillenbrandMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I was absolutely spellbound by this true story. It was unimagineable and yet, so life-changing. Everyone needs to read this. Laura Hillenbrand was able to piece this story together in a way that made it so hard to put down. It was so well written and better than any fictional novel out there.
